Changing Our World
USA Freedom Corps (USAFC) was created to build on the countless acts of service, sacrifice, and generosity that followed September 11th. Over the past four years, USAFC has helped Americans answer the call to service, and the American people are responding.
Vision: Teens all across America will/become devoted volunteers, working together to solve the devastating problems of the world we live in today.
Mission: The crucial job of spreading awareness and encouraging others to become involved in their communities will be my heart felt commitment.
My Inspiration: I first became involved in volunteering at the age of seven. Since my first experience, it has become my passion to help others. I am an active volunteer as a 2006 Polar Bear (Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge), Friendly Visitor at a nursing home, and Student Volunteer at the VA Medical Center.
